The Macauley Foundation is a private, not-for-profit corporation which is operated for the sole purpose of awarding grants to charitable organizations that exemplify compassion for humankind, and are committed to improving lives the world over.

The directors of the Macauley Foundation are Bob and Leila Macauley and their children, Melinda Rice Macauley and Rev. Robert C. Macauley, Jr., M.D.

The Macauleys have been involved in charitable works for over 25 years, having founded AmeriCares Foundation, a disaster and medical relief organization, where Leila Macauley continues to serve as vice-chairman.

During his career, Mr. Macauley served on the boards of numerous corporations and non-profits. He was an advisor to National Executive Service Corps, New York Medical College, World Share and Christmas In April. Mrs. Macauley is the director and treasurer for The Friends of Children, a foundation dedicated to the well-being of children around the world.
